We've been where you are!
Get no-nonsense, supportive jewelry-making instruction from the comfort of your own studio.
Our original online student group began in the spring of 2020 as a response to the pandemic lockdowns and grew into a 5900 member community spanning 82 countries (and still growing)! Our ethos has grown our of our response to the all-too-common experience so many of us have shared in online jewelry-making groups: arrogant, ugly comments; confusing and often contradictory "expertise"; and no safe place to ask "stupid" questions when trying something new. (Hint: there are no stupid questions when you're learning something new!)
Meet your instructor
Francesca Watson is a Texas transplant who originally hails from upstate New York. In 2006, after years working in administrative jobs, she took a bead stringing class with some girlfriends - and the rest, as they say, is history. She began teaching metalsmithing in 2013, and has since been a guest instructor at local studios and major venues across the United States.
Francesca’s work has been published in print and online in Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist magazine and the 2025 Tucson Show Guide, and she has been a featured artist in several podcasts, including Interweave’s Jewelry Artist and Tamara Honaman’s Heart and Hands of the Maker.
